Criminal Pled Guilty in SDNY to
Gun in School Zone in 2022

COURTHOUSE,
April 4 – A man charged as an
armed career criminal was
presented on April 4 before
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Magistrate Judge Barbara C.
Moses. Inner City Press was
there, the only media in the
SDNY Mag court.
Since the
defendant consented to
detention, little was said in
the courtroom before he was
led out by US Marshals.
But when the
complaint was afterward
unsealed, it had photos of the
Shooter on Kelly Street in The
Bronx, and a litany of
previous convictions,
including one in SDNY in 2022
for possessing a firearm in a
school zone.
This case
is USA v. Wilkens, 1:25-mj-983
