SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
April 18 – A 63-year-old man
arrested for dealing fentanyl,
with fourteen prior felony
conviction (most from years
ago), got bail on April 18
before U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Magistrate Judge Sarah L.
Cave. Inner City Press was
there, the only media in the
SDNY Mag court.
The
Federal Defender emphasized
that the man has a home health
aide, citing a degenerating
spinal cord.
Judge Cave
said he could be released on
$100,000 bond with three
co-signer but one would have
to be found before he could be
freed.
The Federal
Defenders asked that this one
be for moral suasion; Judge
Cave agreed. Six hours later,
the case was still listed in
PACER as sealed.
The case is
USA v. Hill, 1:25-mj-1197
(Cave)
