June 27 – Amid detentions
effectuate during immigration
appointments in 26 Federal
Plaza in Lower Manhattan, on
June 27 a national of Honduras
was presented and detained in
the Magistrates Court of the
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York,
which Inner City Press closely

Joel
Antonio Alonzo of Honduras is
accused of Assaulting an
Employee of the United States
- specifically, grabbing for
the gun of a federal
protective security officer on
the 12th floor of 26 Federal
Plaza on June 6.
On June 27
with the consent of his
appointed Federal Defender,
the defendant was detained and
a medical order issued.
The case is
USA v. Alonzo, 1:25-mj-1938
