SDNY COURTHOUSE,
May 15 – Eun
Jung Choi was
at Amsterdam
Nursing Home
on January 29,
2018 when she
was shocked by
a faulty
electrical
socket. She
sued.
On
May 15, 2023,
U.S. District
Court for the
Southern
District of
New York Judge
J. Paul Oetken
was presiding
over the
trial. Inner
City Press
went and
covered
it.
Amsterdam's
counsel, who
had asked for
a sidebar with
the white
noise turned
up, was
crossing Choi
about what she
saw of the
outlet, and
about pilates.
More
pointedly, why
she stopped
medical
treatment.
The
case is Choi
v. Amersterdam
Nursing Home
Corporation,
et al.,
20-cv-10068
(Oetken)
