May 15 – Alexander
Garcia was arrested on May 1
on West 183rd Street in The
Bronx with a gun.
He was
spotted by a DEA surveillance
team working an unrelated
matter on Sedgwick Avenue.
They patted him
down and found a GLOCK 27 Gen5
pistol. He is a felon,
and the case was Federalized.
On May 2 he was
detained.
On May 12
he was indicted, found by
Inner City Press in the
docket, and the case wheeled
out to U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Sidney H. Stein.
The case
is US v. Garcia, 23-cr-240
