SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
Dec 31 – A man in detention on
charges of receiving fentanyl
by mail appeared March 27
before U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Richard M. Berman.
Inner City Press was there,
the only media in the
courtroom.
The
complaint recounts the
defendant, upon his arrested,
giving his iPhone passcode to
the agents. In his phone they
found an order for firearms:
Glock 19, Sif PMX 9mm.
It
was said that a pre-trial
resolution is near.
And on July 30,
Reyes pled guilty to Count 1.
On December 30
his counsel wrote in asking
for two years; sentencing was
set for January 14 at 2 pm,
then moved to January 29 at 10
am.
The case
is US v. Reyes,
23-cr-179 (Berman)
