was told by its SDNY source to
expect "the big one" - Sean
Combs - the next day in an
SDNY courtroom.

On June 24 Combs' Geragos
crossed Agent Cerciello and
played videos, then Alexandra
Shapiro made a Rule 29 motion
previewing summation -
and appeal? In the
evening she submitted that "Section 1591(d)
violates both the First and
Fifth Amendments as
written."12-page filing on
Patreon here
Later, the US
wrote in and dropped that
charge and others, saying it
"has removed instructions from
the charge relating to (i)
attempted kidnapping under
both California and New York
law, (ii) attempted arson
under California law, and
(iii) aiding and abetting sex
trafficking. The Government is
no longer planning to proceed
on these theories of liability
so instructions are no longer
necessary" - 8 page letter here
