UN GATE,
June 25 – How corrupt is
today's UN under Antonio
Guterres? Today's follow up,
the first but certainly not
last, is yet once again on his
mission in Colombia, about
which his spokespeople
Stephane Dujarric and Melissa
Fleming refuse all Press
questions. Inner City Press
has asked them, and others,
about the newest sex abuse
case against the UN there. Now
this, from UN whistleblowers
through Inner City Press:
Dear Matthew Russell Lee, please publish:
...Especially
now under the UN80 reform, where
senior management is clearly using
it to favor their inner circles,
circles that are widening so much
to the extent of threatening
the jobs of those in the base of
the pyramid, those who perform the
very transactions others see as
menial or unimportant, but which
keep their operations running.
Many within those circles have
"slept" their ways to the top in a
shameless manner and even have a
saying in operational
restructuring where their lack of
knowledge and background is
evident only to secure their
useless positions.
What we know so far
is, among the positions to cut
(mainly individuals from the base)
there are 3 P5 positions. It seems
they've been singled out by either
their sexual orientation or due to
their nationality and gender
(female). Competent and capable
women singled out, cornered to the
point where their careers are
about to be terminated in
retaliation, and now also the
posts under their leadership will
suffer as a result of
discrimination.
Personnel's morale is
down in the damps now, there is a
lot of uncertainty for them and
their families. At least the UNVMC
FSU has been able to remain strong
and committed to their mandate of
transparency and defense of
staff's rights, but, until when?
And
what is the UN of Antonio
Guterres doing about all
this? Nothing - but banning the Press
that reports it. On June 19,
2025, reapplied
to re-enter, here,
to get answers in person
to these
questions since they
do not answer written
questions - totally
corrupt.
We'll have
more on all this. Keep the info
coming.
