UN Sexual Scams in Sudan and NY Where UN Ambassador From Juba Fled With Immunity

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon

SDNY / UN GATE, April 15 –Whistleblowers continue to reach out to Inner City Press, while SG Antonio Guterres refuses all questions and bans the Press. Here's one:

A concerning case reportedly occurred in the former UN mission in Darfur, where a female staff member allegedly lodged a sexual harassment complaint against a male colleague shortly after learning that her post would be abolished. Colleagues familiar with the situation have stated that the two were previously in a consensual relationship. Such incidents raise serious concerns about the use of harassment claims as a means to secure continued employment, promotions, or other advantages...

Cases have been cited where, following social events or alcohol-fueled gatherings, threats of allegations or demands for money or promotions have emerged. In some instances, supervisors were allegedly photographed in compromising situations and later coerced for favors under threat of being reported.  There is also a growing perception among UN staff that the Organization's leadership, particularly the Secretary-General, has not taken decisive steps to address these complex challenges. A significant portion of staff view the current administration as lacking the firmness required to restore institutional confidence and balance

Also: After a UN Ambassador from South Sudan raped a woman in upper Manhattan then was released, citing his UN diplomatic immunity, Inner City Press at noon on August 23, 2022 asked UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres' spokespeople Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming for

"UN comment on South Sudan dip evading rape charge (mis)using diplomatic immunity? He followed victim into her Manhattan apartment about noon, and then raped her twice. #NoonBriefing."

A full day later, no answer at all. Other media asked the South Sudan Mission (Inner City Press published a list of its UN Ambassador here, including the rapist Charles Dickens Imene Oliha).

Guterres' head of communication or propaganda Melissa Fleming has not answered a letter from pro bono law firm Quinn Emanuel seeking re-admission of Inner City Press to cover it, and this. Watch this site.
