UN GATE,
June 25 – How corrupt is
the UN-world system under
Antonio Guterres, who bans the
Press which investigates? This
example is again from ITU,
International
Telecommunication Union, whose
whistleblowers have, like
others, reached out to banned
Inner City Press (which on
June 19, 2025 formally applied
to re-enter the UN to ask, here)
Dear Matthew
Russell Lee:
Dear
Mr. Lee, This is the final week of
ITU's Council (17-27 June), and there is
urgency for the Council to ask for
investigative reports showing what appears
to be misconduct by the Secretary-General,
DBM. So far at ITU's Council, the
Secretary-General's (Doreen Bogdan Martin)
metamorphosis from alleged harasser to
innocent victim has come full-circle.
In addition, Bogdan-Martin was
re-nominated; DBM's loyal supporters
praised her and condemned anonymous
whistleblowers. There have been
numerous formal complaints of harassment and
abuse of authority against DBM.
These investigations have been unilaterally
disposed of by the Council Chair and IMAC
Chair, who closed them - despite solid
indications that they are founded and
substantiated.
Whistleblowers have been urging the
Council to ask for the investigative reports
and verify what they really say. These
requests have been condemned by DBM's loyal
supporters. Whistleblowing is
dead in ITU as whistleblowers are silenced
and lawfare against whistleblowers
continues.
Sounds like Guterres' UNHQ, and OHCHR in
Geneva - or soon, Vienna.
More coming.
After repeated
refusal to respond by
spokespeople including
Stephane Dujarric and Melissa
Fleming, here was the first
complaint on Inner City Press'
DocumentCloud here.
