As UNSG Guterres Omits Ethiopia From Readout Unlike Team Biden Would Blinken and LTG Also Censor

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

UN GATE / SDNY, Dec 1 - The United Nations, its unaccountable senior leadership and sychophantic press corps all seem pleased by the nomination of perceived supporters to represent the US from January 20 on.

Witness the canned Q&A in the UN noon briefing of November 23, which again banned Inner City Press - and its questions about UN corruption and sexual abuse, Cameroon, Honduras and other UN failures.

On November 30 Team Biden put out a read out that Guterres called congratulating, and notably the Biden read out mentions Ethiopia. Photo here.

On November 30, after 10 pm, the UN's censoring spokesman Stephane Dujarric issued this readout, which typical for Guterres' craven weakness does not even mention Ethiopia, as he was pressured not to: "The Secretary-General was pleased to speak with President-elect Joseph R. Biden today to extend his personal congratulations to the President-elect.     The Secretary-General underscored the essential role played by the enduring close co-operation between the United States and the United Nations.  He looks forward to working with the President-elect and his team to building on our partnership to address the many urgent issues facing the world today, including the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, upholding peace and security, promoting human rights, and addressing humanitarian needs." What craven hypocrisy by Guterres, who supports the killing of civilians in Cameroon and censorship in UN.

Inner City Press before corrupt UNSG Antonio Guterres had it thrown out without due process or appeal covered not only the UN and its "Peacekeeping" missions in Haiti and elsewhere, but also Antony Blinken (here, meeting Prince Zeid) and Linda Thomas-Greenfield (here, after a trip to Somalia; Inner City Press covered the UN Security Council trip to Djibouti).

So would it be the case that Blinken and Thomas-Greenfield would cast a blind eye at UN censorship

and lack of accountability, from Cameroon to the banning of the Press that asks? Watch this site.
