Turkey Talk Omits Osman Kavala On Guterres Bluewashing Bucha First Leg, Ready on Taiwan

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC-Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN NY Mag

SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 25 –   How inconvenient this life sentence was, Antonio Guterres thought to himself.

He was in Turkey, prepared to sell out Cyprus, sure, and Armenia for the upteenth time.

But why was Osman Kavala sentenced for Gezi Park right while Guterres was in Turkey?

The answer was that Guterres, a non-entity this own, by carrying the UN Secretary General aura he tricked his way into the first time, and strong-armed the second, could bluewash things.

Back in February when many were criticizing China's Genocide Games, Guterres went there and didn't say a work about the Uighurs. Presto! Bluewashing mass detention.

He was available, he let it be known, to be there when they invaded Taiwan. He already blocked any journalist from Taiwan from entering the UN. Why not go whole hog?

Still, Osman Kavala was just one man. To cover up a whole genocide, most recently the dead of Bucha, was a bigger job. And it would begin on Tuesday for Big Tony Guterres. He had to get some sleep.

Kurt Wheelock, on the other hand, woke up that Monday to see a transcript of Tony Blinken answering a reporter's question after his visit to Kyev. He said that he had spoke with Guterres on Friday - the UN had given no read out - and that Guterres "should" be carrying a strong message. Should?

Kurt wrote a story, and prepared to cover the American month atop the Security Council in May. How many more would be dead by then? How many more would be bluewashed by ghoulish Big Tony?
