Man Caught With Drugs By German Shepherd Balu Pleads Guilty With 20 Years On Table

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Jan 13 –  Pedro Rosario Carrasquillo was charged in a narcotics conspiracy, meth and heroin in Manhattan.      

         On January 13, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman held a charge of plea proceeding. Inner City Press covered it. 

 The defendant was caught by Balu, a German shepherd certified as a narcotics-detection canine to detect marijuana, cocaine, heroin, MDMA and meth. 

  Judge Liman told the defendant there is the possibility of a maximum of 20 years.

The case is US v. Ortiz-Molina et al., 21-cr-173 (Liman)
