For Bard Access Bench Trial Over Venous Catheter Pay Parties Want Constructive Sealing

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, May 20 – Bard Access Systems was sued by 3DT Holdings LLC over a venous catheter payment dispute and a bench trial is coming up.

On March 25, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis J. Liman held a pre-trial conference. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Liman told the parties that direct testimony will be in writing, and only the cross examination live in court. Counsel asked if it might be permitted to do the direct examination live to, if only for an audience of one.

Among the "people, places and institutions likely to be mentioned" are the FDA, Lucent, Poliac, NeoMatrix, Eddie K. Burnside and a dozen other individuals.

On May 20 in advance of the May 23 bench trial start date, another conference was held and Inner City Press covered it. Along with scheduling matters - the length of the lunch break, when a guilty plea might be be taken - the parties asked to seal the courtroom.

The response was that perhaps no one would go to see the trial. The parties both agreed not to request - or allow? - a listen only call in line for the press and public, such as existed in the Guo bench trial. Watch this site.

The case is 3DT Holdings LLC v. Bard Access Systems Inc., 17-cv-5463 (Liman)
