SDNY COURTHOUSE,
Aug 13 – John Snyder was and
is required to register as Sex
Offender, and did not.
On August 13 U.S.
District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Denise L. Cote held a
proceeding. Inner City Press
covered it.
The
question was whether Snyder
would get jail time for a
violation of supervised
release, and if so where he
should be supervised
afterward.
The
Assistant US Attorney argued
that Snyder was an absconder
and should get jail time, then
have supervision transferred
to New Jersey.
Judge Cote after
listening ordered six months
incarceration, and an end of
SDNY supervision.
The case is US v.
Snyder, 18-cr-717 (Cote)
