Boka Restaurant Is Sued Over Minimum Wage So Check of GrubHub Tips From iPad to iCloud

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 26 – Francisco Ajcalon Samines sued Hourglass Holdings d/b/a Boka Restaurant for failure to pay overtime and minimum wage.

On April 26, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Katharine H. Parker held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

The talk was nitty-gritty: has a particular iPad's content been uploaded to the iCloud? How about seeing the information on tips from GrubHub and Seamless Web?

After some mediation orders, a stay on the case was lifted on March 25. And it moves forward.

The case is Ajcalon Samines v. Hourglass Holdings, Inc. et al., 20-cv-5405 (Parker)
