Knight-Swift Transportation Is Sued For Denying Overtime To Driver Motions Oct 7

SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 7 – Tavares Hobbs et al sued Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings, Inc. for denial of minimum wage to truck drivers. 

 On July 7, 2022 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Stuart D. Aaron held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.  

Judge Aaron addressed and resolved issues ranging from the provision of names for class action certification, one hour depositions with discovery on class certification extended to August 8.

Cross motions on the subject are due October 7.

The case is Hobbs et al v. Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings, Inc., et al., 21-cv-1421 (Torres / Aaron)
