Key Foods Is Sued For Unpaid Wages So Discovery To December Then 5 Day Jury Trial

SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 2 – Margarito Hernandez Santos sued the Key Foods at 755 Amsterdam Avenue in Manhattan for unpaid wages.   

   On June 2, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Robert W. Lehrburger held a proceeding.  Inner City Press covered it. 

  Judge Lehrburger asked about the size and scope of the purported class and was told, everyone who works or worked in the supermarket.

There was a request for information and discovery before negotiations can take place.

 Fact discovery will run to December 2, 2021, with a five day jury trial requested.

The case is Santos v. Nuve Miguel Corp. et al., 21-cv-1335 (Oetken / Lehrburger)
