By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Nov 14 – Brandon Johnson has been facing trial in a narcotics conspiracy in December 2021. But he and his appointed lawyer have not been getting along.

On November 12, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Andrew L. Carter held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Judge Carter acknowledged that with a change of counsel, a new trial date will have to be found.

The deadline to apply for the first quarter of 2022 is Monday, November 15. The file will go to the white shoe law firm that was the CJA on duty on November 12.

The case is  US v. Johnson, 19-cr-828 (Carter)
