By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Sept 29 – On the afternoon of September 28, Audrey Strauss, Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced that "ANTHONY GUZZONE, a former Director of Global Construction at Bloomberg, LLC (“Bloomberg”), pled guilty today to charges of evading taxes on more than $1.45 million in bribes he received from building sub-contractors."

Not included in the press release was something that emerged during the change of plea proceeding before SDNY Judge Lewis J. Liman, which Inner City Press covered.

The Information said the Guzzone was paid bribes in the form of "Super Bowl ticket packages."

But Guzzone says he paid for those tickets. Judge Liman said this case be addressed at sentencing, now set for January 7.

The case is US v. Guzzone, 20-cr-00354 (Liman)
