Man Now in Pennsylvania Repped by Bronx Legal Services For Unpaid Wages in SDNY

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, August 31 – Juan Mejia Dalmau has sued the 1084 New York Avenue for unpaid wages.

On August 30 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

Dalmau, who now lives in Pennsylvania, is represented by Bronx Legal Services. The defense lawyer, Jeremi L. Chylinski, said that between the Mediation Program and a Magistrate, he preferred a magistrate.

Judge Vyskocil referred the case to SDNY Magistrate Judge Barbara C. Moses, and set a next conference for November 23.

The case is Dalmau v. 1084 NY Ave LLC, et al., 21-cv-4407 (Vyskocil)
