Man Is Charged With Falsifying a COVID-19 Lab Report and With Bail Jumping in SDNY

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, June 15 – Felix Santiago, III is charged with bail jumping and filing false COVID-19 results with the court.

On June 15, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Edgardo Ramos had scheduled an arraignment and initial conference. Inner City Press covered it.

The indictment says that the defendant "falsified a COVID-19 lab report that he submitted to the court... with the intend to impede the proper administration of that matter within the jurisdiction of the US Department of Justice."

Judge Ramos held the proceeding at 9 am, before holding an insider trading jury trial to 2:30 pm.

More on that soon - this case is USA v. Santiago, 21-cr-185 (Ramos)
