Moody With Crack and Guns In Bronx Pad Wants Out Of MDC Amid Wuhan Virus But No

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon
BBC - Decrypt - LightRead - Honduras - Source

SDNY COURTHOUSE, April 14 – Andrew Moody while detained in MDC in Brooklyn argued on April 14 to get out due to COVID-19 spread. His motion stated, "A pneumonia of unknown cause detected in Wuhan, China was 1st reported to the WHO in China on 31 Dec 2019." Inner City Press covered it.

Assistant US Attorney Sobelman responded by filing Moody's Bureau of Prisons medical records, under seal. On April 14 it was said that Moody is getting better, and his lawyer was asked if he wanted to put this over.

No, he said - there's no assurance his sickness won't return.

AUSA Sobelman said Judge Berman should not intervene in MDC's medical care of Moody who, he emphasized, does not have fever. "Bail in this case is not a close question," he says. Found in Moody's Bronx apartment: $34,000 in cash, crack and a defaced gun.

Judge Berman listened closely, but denied bail. He did, however, recommend medical case. The case is US v. Moody, 19-cr-112 (Berman)
