LifeMD Is Sued For Not Paying GoGoMeds Echo of Harborside Advisers in SDNY

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Feb 22 – Harborside Advisors LLC sued LifeMD, Inc. for alleged failure to pay Harborside for work it did under a consultant agreement.

On February 22, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge John G. Koeltl held a proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

The defendant had filed a motion to dismiss without the requisite pre-motion conference. Nonetheless the plaintiff now has until March 11 to file an amended complaint.

If none is filed, the time to respond to the motion to dismiss runs through March 25.

That case is  Harborside Advisors LLC v. LifeMD, Inc., 21-cv-10593 (Koeltl)

On March 1, SDNY Chief Magistrate Judge James L. Cott held a proceeding in another case against LifeMD, this one by Specialty Medical Drugstore, LLC d/b/a GoGoMeds. They too say they are not being paid. Judge Cott set a discovery schedule and advised the parties not to make the perfect the enemy of the good, and wait for all documents before doing depositions (which are due by October 14). A protective order is to be submitted by April 1.

This case is Specialty Medical Drugstore, LLC v. LifeMD, Inc., 21-cv-10599 (Carter / Cott)
