As UN Now Admits Killing Congolese It Said Were Stealing Rice As Guterres Censors From Vacation

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Maxwell Book
BBC - Honduras - CIA Trial Book - NY Mag

UN GATE, July 31 – After UN troops in Eastern Congo shot civilians, on July 27 in a UN briefing the Press was banned from UN official Khassim Diagne said that those shots were "looters," defined as those making off with bags of rice.

That is, under UNSG Antonio Guterres, the UN had moved from killing Haitian with cholera to shooting Congolese who are hungry, and serving up justifications to state media in ill-attended briefings from which Guterres and his media accreditation official Melissa Fleming ban Inner City Press.

The justification of shooting civilains was coordinated on July 27 by deputy spokesman Farhan Haq. Lead spokesman Stephane Dujarric, like Guterres, remained on vacation while the UN kills civilians in the Congo.

Now on July 31: "Kinshasa, July 31, 2022: The Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations and Head of MONUSCO, Mrs. Bintou Keita, has just learned with amazement of the serious incident that occurred this morning in Kasindi, at the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. During this incident, soldiers from the Intervention Brigade of the MONUSCO force, returning from leave, opened fire at the border post for unexplained reasons and forced their way through. This serious incident caused loss of life and serious injuries.   The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mrs. Bintou Keita, is deeply shocked and dismayed by this serious incident. It offers its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured.   Faced with this unspeakable and irresponsible behavior, the perpetrators of the shooting have been identified and arrested pending the conclusions of the investigation which has already begun in collaboration with the Congolese authorities.  Contacts have also been established with the country of origin of these soldiers so that legal proceedings can be initiated urgently with the participation of victims and witnesses, so that exemplary sanctions can be taken as soon as possible."

Inner City Press will have more on this. It has asked each of the above named about the killings, about UN corruption and censorship, and to respond to these: protester Jack Sinzahera said: "We have our own police that will look after our security and property. We don't want anything to do with Monusco." and "They are tear-gassing us because we came to say that Monusco does not help us," protester Anselme Musimbwa said "They've been in Congo for 22 years and nothing works;" and

On DRC, immediately confirm or deny: At least five people have died during protests against a UN peacekeeping force in Goma in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Local media have reported that they were shot by the peacekeepers.  The UN mission, known as Monusco, has not responded to these reports. - on deadline.  No answers.

Today's UN is corrupt.
