UN Guterres Says All Back to Hot Desks After Grabbed 5 More Years Lying He's For Free Press

By Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon  Podcast
BBC - Guardian UK - Honduras - ESPN

SDNY COURTHOUSE, July 6 –   After a one-man election campaign, with at least seven opposition candidates entirely blocked, Antonio Guterres was coronated to another term as UN Secretary General on June 18.

Inner City Press, banned from the UN by Guterres for 1082 days and counting, live tweeted it here and podcast here)

Now in July, this: ""From: BROADCAST United Nations   Sent: Friday, July 2, 2021 5:02 PM  To: Broadcast - ALL UN Secretariat   Subject: Subject: 6 July Return to UN Headquarters premises: Updated OHR policy guidance and FAQ   Dear Colleagues,   We hope you and your families are well, safe and healthy.    As announced by the Secretary-General in his letter of 3 June 2021, all personnel will be expected from 6 July to perform their functions at United Nations Headquarters premises in New York, one or more days a week, according to a schedule to be established by each team.   In planning for the return to United Nations premises, our approach has been guided by New York City and State authorities, and by prioritizing your health and safety, as well as by ensuring the operational needs of the Organization.    In line with the improved conditions in New York and local guidelines, and following decisions by the Senior Emergency Policy Team, starting from 6 July, all occupancy limits at the UNHQ complex and annex buildings will be lifted.    This means that there will be no physical distance restrictions for vaccinated personnel and non-staff personnel. Unvaccinated staff and non-staff personnel will continue to distance themselves from other unvaccinated staff and non-staff personnel, and to wear masks.    Out of an abundance of caution, however, all personnel will be required to wear masks indoors in common areas, including in elevators and restrooms... Guidance about the commencement of the 76th session of the General Assembly will be forthcoming.  We encourage all staff to get vaccinated and to record their completed COVID-19 vaccinations at the EarthMed Portal.  We wish you all a productive and happy summer.   Senior Emergency Policy Team."

After in coronation in June, Guterres took five hand-picked questions, one in Portuguese (a second answer, he started in Portuguese), then concluded claiming he is committed to press freedom - this while banning critical Inner City Press from the UN and its briefings for 1200 days and counting. This cannot stand. Watch this site
