SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
April 1 – A man convicted of
bank fraud in Virginia who had
his supervision transferred in
February to the U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York was
brought on March 28 before
SDNY Magistrate Judge James L.
Cott on violations of
supervised release. Inner City
Press was there, the only
media in the SDNY Mag court.
The
AUSA said that "Ready, Willing
and Able" has not helped the
defendant.
Judge Cott
inquired, adding that if not
there, he could be at the
Bellevue Men's Shelter.
Ultimately he was
ordered released, but will see
the assigned District Judge in
the future.
The case is
US v. Price, 24-cr-106 (Torres
/ Cott)
