SDNY COURTHOUSE,
June 1 – For a conspiracy to
import heroin from Colombia to
New York, Juan Carlos
Nunoz-Lopez appeared on June 1
before U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New
York Judge Jesse M. Furman.
Inner City Press was
there.
Nunoz,
represented by Joshua Dratel,
pleaded guilty to counts 1 and
2 of the indictment. Dratel
pointed out that the deal with
an undercover, and was not
carried out.
Nunoz was
in the orange prison jumpsuit
of the Westchester County
Department of Corrections. His
sentencing was set for
September 29 at 3 pm.
The overall case
is US v. Munoz-Lopez,
19-cr-648 (Furman)
