For Transfer of 1 Kilo of Fentanyl in The Bronx Angela Urena Pled to 70 Months Now Asks 18

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Sept 13 – For transferring a kilo of fentanyl by 243 West 179th Street in the Bronx on March 15, 2022, Angela Urena on September 13, 2023 came to plead guilty before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge P. Kevin Castel. Inner City Press was there, the only media in this SDNY courtroom. 

 Back in March 2022, Urena had been released on $25,000 bond. Thereafter, her case was repeatedly continued.

 Now she had a plea deal: for 70 to 87 months. 

Jump cut to March 21, 2024, when Angela Urena's counsel wrote in and asked for 18 months.
