COURTHOUSE,
June 28 – A man who pleaded
guilty on December 14, 2023 to
being a felon in possessions
of a firearm on June 10 asked
to delay his sentencing.
His
lawyer's letter stated that "a
brutal homicide occurred late
last week in MDC... the
facility is currently on
lockdown." Inner City Press is
covering it.
A delay of two
weeks of the June 27
sentencing was requested; a
delay in sentencing memo was
granted, but that's all.
And Abdullah was
sentenced to 72 months, six
years, as close as possible to
NYC.
The case is US v.
Abdullah, 23-cr-498 (Castel )
