COURTHOUSE,
April 15 – A group of parking
lot workers in The Bronx have
sued a parking lot titan who
they say owns some of his lots
through family members
including his wife. They say,
among other things, they were
not paid overtime.
On April 5
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York
Judge Ronnie Abrams held a
conference. Inner City Press
covered it.
Each side
said they intend to move for
partial summary judgment.
The lawyer
for all defendants said she
will move to get Diana
Martinez, the wife, removed
from the case.
The case is
Recio et al v. D'Almonte
Enterprises Parking Garage,
Inc. et al., 22-cv-6153
(Abrams)
