Man Arrested for Kilo of Cocaine in Bronx Parking Lot Is IDed by Drug Dog and Detained

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, Jan 31 – Julian Lopez was arrested in connection with one kilo of cocaine in a Bronx parking lot.

On January 31 he was presented in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrates Court and detained. Inner City Press was there, the only media in the SDNY Mag Court.

The complaint describes Lopez' grey 2017 Dodge Caravan and a "powdered substance in the Red and White Bag.

The case was cracked by a drug dog, K9 Liberty, acquired by the Westchester County Police in October 2020, with many degrees since.

Lopez was detained on consent, while his co-defendant got out on $75,000 bond.

The case is US v. Lopez, 24-mj-399 (Lehrburger)
