Charged In Shoot Out on Tinton Ave in the Bronx Felon Is Detained for Ammo in SDNY

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 26 – A man charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition in connection with a shooting on 152nd Street and Tinton Avenue in The Bronx was presented on March 25, before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge James L. Cott. Inner City Press was the only media in the SDNY Mag court.

The complaint shows a man with a grey shopping bag approaching a black Mercedes-Benz sedan, and then a gun fight.

Then, the Luger 9-millimeter shell casing NYPD recovered.

Federal Defenders, assigned counsel, consented to detention without prejudice.

The case is US v. Sullivan, 24-mj-1162 (Cott)
