Sex Offender Elvin Heskey Was Released But Resumed on Net So New Case Asks 10 Years

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

SDNY COURTHOUSE, March 21 – Sex offender Elvin Heskey in 2017 was sentenced to 95 months in prison and nine years of supervised release.

On April 28, 2023 Heskey appeared, detained, before U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Magistrate Judge Ona T. Wang. Inner City Press was there, the only media in the SDNY Mag Court.

Heskey was charged with not registering under SORNA, and using a computer without the required monitoring software.

He was to see the District Judge who sentenced him, Richard Mr. Berman, on May 16 at 9 am.

That case is US v. Heskey, 15-cr-228 (Berman)

On June 1, 2023, Heskey appeared again in SDNY Magistrates Court, with a new case number. He was detained.

On March 21, 2024, his Federal Defender asked for the mandatory minimum: ten years.

This new separate case is US v. Heskey, 23-cr-596 (Furman)
