SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
July 8 – A man arrested and
charged with selling drugs and
having a gun on the corner of
157th Street and Gerard Avenue
in The Bronx, near Yankee
Stadium, was arraigned on July
8 before U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of
New York Judge Mary Kay
Vyskocil. Inner City Press was
there, the only media in the
courtroom.
Judge
Vyskocil asked when the
protective order, allowing for
production of discovery
material, would be signed. A
signed copy was passed
forward. Judge Vyskocil
ordered that the defense
provide a hard drive by the
end of the week, and that the
AUSA burn the evidence on as
quickly as possible.
The
complaint contains texted
photos of firearms and the
line, "Ese 38 tu me va a
pasar?" [This 38, you'll give
me?]
A next
conference was set for October
24 at 10 am, at which Judge
Vyskocil set she will set a
trial date.
The case is US v.
Quinones, 24-cr-364 (Vyskocil)
