SDNY COURTHOUSE, Nov 1 – Alberto Roman was charged with the armed robbery of pharmacies in The Bronx.

On November 1 U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Valerie E. Caproni held a change of plea proceeding. Inner City Press covered it.

The charges include the robbery of a pharmacy at 493 East 138th Street in The Bronx on December 17, 2020 - for a take of $60 cash, a gold chain, credit / debit cards and "several prescription medications."

On December 23 there was 1286 Southern Boulevard and on Christmas Eve, 880 East 180th Street. Three days after Christmas, 837 Home Street, a deli.

Judge Caproni accepted the plea, and set sentencing for February 16, 2022. The virtual access was appreciated, and it is hoped it will continue.

The case is  US v. Roman, 21-cr-135 (Caproni)
