110 CENTRE ST,
April 15
–
he People of the State of New
York versus Donald Trump trial
started up on April 15, with
oral arguments and rulings on
motions in limine, no jury
selection begun before the
12:30 lunch break. Inner City
Press was there, from thread:
All rise!
Judge Merchan:
The case is on today for jury
selection. There are a few
things to go over first. The
motion for recusal was filed
by Todd Blanche and includes
page after page of social
media posts.. Defendant argues
that this Court's family
member does work for
Democratic officials.
There is no basis for recusal.
Judge Merchan:
On April 12 Mr. Blanche filed
a motion for hybrid jury
selection. Is there a
response?
Prosecutor:
As long as this does not
require individual questioning
of the jurors.
Trump's lawyer
Blanche: We object to a
question about if you have
done to a event in favor of
President Trump. And it is
unclear what "anti-Trump"
mean.
