by Matthew Russell Lee

100 CENTRE ST COURT, April 22 - In the Trump trial opening arguments were heard by the jury on April 22 and then the beginning of the first witness, David Pecker of the National Enquirer. Inner City Press live tweeted it all here

Trump lawyer Todd Blanche's opening was punctuated by prosecution objection, which were mostly sustained, including as to what could be said about Michael Cohen. Much will ride on Cohen's testimony and cross examination.
