Two Press Banned from Trump Trial It Is Stated Access of Others Imperiled So This Report

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

100 CENTRE ST COURT, April 23 – As the Trump Trial slogs forward in New York State court in lower Manhattan, the conditions for reporting differ not only from those in Georgia - where camera in the courtroom are allowed - but even to the Federal SDNY court a mere two blocks away.

Inner City Press which mostly covers SDNY has in the Trump Trial been in both the main courtroom (viewing the back of Trump's head and fielding questions to confirm or deny that he farted) and in the so-called overflow courtroom down the hall.

In the latter, Trump's facial expressions and those of his lawyers and the prosecutors are visible in TV screens in the front, which some have taken to viewing through opera glasses.
